Description
This replacement heavy-duty front double cardan prop-shaft suitable for all Discovery 2 models, both manual and automatic models.
This is the heavy-duty version as fitted to the automatic models but also fits the manual gearbox models too.
When Land Rover designed and built the Discovery 2, they fitted a new type of front propshaft with three universal joints, one end having two universal joints, known as a double cardan joint. This special joint allows the propshaft to run at steeper angles with less vibration and binding.
We recommend using new locknuts when fitting, so we include 8 with the propshaft.
