It is common for the water in fuel warning light to be permanently illuminated, this is often caused by a fault with the wiring in the fuel filter housing and not actually water in the fuel.

This Genuine Land Rover replacement fuel filter housing will solve the problem and comes complete with a new fuel filter and water sensor.
