A very common fault on the P38 Range Rover is the EAS air suspension compressor.
They get worn out and tired with age, resulting in very low air flow and pressure. When it fails, the suspension will cause a fault, and the suspension will drop right down to the bump stops.
This is a a new replacement Dunlop air suspension compressor complete with new air filter, fitted plug - to plug straight into existing wiring- and complete with anti vibration rubber mounts. This is a straight swap and a very easy job to change. It is worth inspecting the wiring plug on the vehicle for corrosion and overheating, as a failing compressor can cause problems with the connector. Always clean the connector before fitting a new compressor.
A faulty EAS air compressor pump will cause:
- The suspension to be slow to raise
- A fault on dashboard
- Noisy pump that is running more than normal
This is an OEM Dunlop replacement part, equivalent to Land Rover part number: ANR3731
