Warranty Form B
Warranty support
Item Failed During Fitting
Use this form if an item broke, failed or was found to be defective while it was being installed.
We aim to respond within 24 hours
We often respond much sooner during normal working hours. Responses may take longer at weekends, on bank holidays or during particularly busy periods.
This form is for problems found during installation
Complete this form where the item broke, would not operate correctly, would not fit as expected or was found to have a defect while it was being installed.
Did the problem occur at another stage?
If the item arrived damaged, or failed only after fitting while the vehicle was being driven or used, please choose the correct warranty claim instead.
Choose Another Warranty ClaimStop fitting and keep all parts
Do not continue fitting, modify the item or dispose of any components. Keep the product, all packaging, fittings and any removed parts until the claim has been reviewed and we have provided instructions.
Information We Need
Order and product details
Provide your order or invoice number, delivery postcode, email address used for the order and the product SKU.
Full vehicle details
Include the full model, engine, year, UK registration number and the complete 17-character VIN where possible.
Fitting details
Tell us who fitted the item, what stage of installation had been reached and whether any specialist tools, settings or procedures were used.
Please Explain Exactly What Happened
Do not simply state that the item is “faulty”, “broken”, “does not fit” or “does not work”. We need enough detail to understand what happened during fitting.
Describe the exact symptoms, where the item was positioned, what happened when it was tightened, connected or operated, any unusual resistance, movement, noise, leakage, warning lights, damage or incorrect alignment, and the checks used to identify the suspected fault.
Help us investigate
Checks to Include
Compare with the removed part
Explain whether the new and removed parts were compared before fitting, including connectors, mounting points, dimensions, angles and part numbers.
Check surrounding components
Tell us whether related parts were checked for wear, seizure, restriction, incorrect adjustment, contamination or another fault that could affect the new item.
Confirm the installation method
Include any torque settings, bleeding, priming, coding, calibration, alignment or adjustment procedures carried out during installation.
Please Provide Clear Photographs
The suspected fault
Include close-up photographs showing the affected area, damage, incorrect fitment or visible defect.
The installation area
Include wider photographs showing where and how the item was being fitted, including surrounding components and mounting points.
Part numbers and comparison
Photograph product labels, cast or stamped numbers and, where useful, the new and removed parts positioned side by side.
Do not modify the item to make it fit
Do not drill, grind, file, bend, cut, weld, force or otherwise alter the item. Modification may prevent the product from being inspected properly and may affect the outcome of the claim.
Keep the Item and All Related Parts
- Keep the item in its current condition and do not attempt further installation.
- Keep the original product packaging, labels, instructions and all supplied fittings.
- Keep the removed part and any related components that may be needed for comparison.
- Do not return or dispose of anything until we have reviewed the claim and provided instructions.
