AMK Compressors for Land Rover
AMK air suspension compressors are commonly found on later Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport models. They may also be fitted to earlier vehicles that have previously been converted from the original Hitachi compressor system.
A replacement compressor can help resolve slow suspension operation, compressor overheating, excessive running time and vehicle height faults where the compressor itself has been correctly diagnosed as the cause.
Other faults within the air suspension system, including leaks, damaged air springs, blocked dryer components or valve block issues, can cause similar symptoms and should be checked before replacing the compressor.
Check Your Existing Compressor Before Ordering
Land Rover vehicles may use either a Hitachi or AMK compressor, depending on the model, production date and whether the suspension system has previously been modified.
The vehicle registration or model year alone may not always confirm which type is currently fitted. We recommend visually checking the existing compressor and comparing it with the product images and fitting information before ordering.
