Description
This billet aluminium, transfer gearbox sump oil cooler is designed to replace the flimsy sump covers supplied as standard equipment. These covers are much stronger than the originals and have cooling fins to keep the oil in your transfer gearbox case cool in harsh conditions. The sump cover is supplied with a new gasket and the existing bolts are used for installation.
This sump cover is significantly stronger than the original and adds about 1/2 litre to oil capacity. Existing ground clearance is not compromised. A plugged port is supplied so that you can fit an optional DA1285 oil temperature gauge.
It is possible to fit this sump cover to V8 models but check first that there is good clearance between the cover and existing exhaust pipes.
