Description
SEB500440 is a replacement front right brake caliper for Land Rover Defender models from approximately 1990 to 2016 fitted with solid, non-ventilated front brake discs. It is the later replacement caliper and supersedes the earlier part number STC1263.
Land Rover changed the original caliper part number during production at VIN 6A713928. Vehicles from VIN LA930456 to 6A713927 originally used STC1263, while SEB500440 was introduced from VIN 6A713928. SEB500440 now supersedes STC1263, making it the replacement for both applications where the vehicle is fitted with the correct solid front brake disc system.
