Range Rover Sport L320
The first-generation Range Rover Sport shares its basic platform with the Discovery 3 and Discovery 4. It has a separate chassis structure, independent suspension and electronic air suspension on most versions.
Range Rover Sport L494
The second-generation Range Rover Sport uses a lightweight aluminium body structure and shares many systems with the Range Rover L405. It is a completely different vehicle from the earlier L320.
Not Sure Which Range Rover Sport You Have?
The L320 and L494 are visually very different, although vehicles registered during 2013 can fall into either generation. The L320 has a squarer body and heavier separate-chassis construction, while the L494 has a smoother body, slimmer lights and lightweight aluminium construction.
