The KNW500020 towbar lock assembly is a replacement locking mechanism for the later-style factory detachable towbar fitted to Discovery 4 and later Range Rover Sport models.
If your detachable towbar has become difficult to lock, the key mechanism has seized, or the towbar will not secure properly into the vehicle, replacing the lock assembly can restore safe and reliable operation. This version is for later vehicles from VIN 9A505992 onwards, which is approximately early 2009 production onwards.
