ANR1808X2 is a pair of replacement rubber engine / transmission mountings for selected 4-cylinder Land Rover Defender applications. Depending on the vehicle and engine specification, ANR1808 is used as either an engine mounting or a gearbox / transmission mounting.

The rubber mountings help support the engine or transmission while isolating vibration from the chassis. With age the rubber can soften, split or deteriorate, allowing excessive drivetrain movement and causing increased vibration, knocking or movement when accelerating, changing gear or taking up drive. ANR1808 also supersedes the earlier part number NRC9560.
