RAPTOR TOUGH AND TINTABLE PROTECTIVE COATING
RAPTOR is a very tough and versatile protective coating suitable for applying to just about any surface to offer protection and for enhancing the looks of vehicles, equipment, boats, outdoor furniture or just about anything.
Easy to apply with minimal surface preparation, RAPTOR is supplied in easy to use 4 bottle boxed kits. Simply add the included hardener to one bottle with the handy measure, shake and then apply with a 'Schutz' type underbody gun, brush or roller.
RAPTOR is resistant to scratches, mechanical damage, fuels, hydraulic oils, animal urine, salt water and more. It is easy to apply by spray, roller or brush to give different types of finishes and textures.
CUSTOMISABLE
RAPTOR is available in black, white and tintable versions. The tintable version can be altered to suit the colour of your choice by adding up to 100 ml of automotive solvent paint. RAPTOR can be applied as a smooth finish through to a very coarse finish.

RAPTOR Surface Preparation
RAPTOR can be applied to bare surfaces or over sound previously painted surfaces.
Only apply over a previous 2K coating (primer, clearcoat or solid colour).
Not compatible with water-based paints.
Always clean the sanded surface with a degreaser.
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and dust-free.
Use a 2K polyurethane primer, epoxy primer or etch primer.
For large areas of bare metal, always use a suitable
primer following manufacturer's directions for preparation
and drying.
Mask off edges and areas to protect from overspray.
Only apply over a previous 2K coating (primer, clearcoat or solid colour).
Not compatible with water-based paints.

Thin coat: smoother surface, dries and hardens quickly.
Thick coat: textured surface, dries and hardens less quickly.
Touch dry in less than an hour at 20°C, light dry in 2-3
days at 20°C and thorough dry in 5-7 days at 20°C.
One medium coat gives a dry film thickness of approximately
230 microns. 1-litre covers 2.5-7.5m2 depending on the
application mode.
For more thickness, apply another coat after the flash-off
time.
For a smoother texture, add up to 20% thinner and use a
HVLP gun.
Once dry, RAPTOR can be applied to itself for simple
adjustments.

RAPTOR Coverage
RAPTOR is very versatile and easy to apply. Varying textures can be achieved by the application method, air pressure, volume and application thickness. For a finer finish, apply several thin coats allowing 60 minutes between coats. A thicker finish can be achieved by applying thicker coats with care to avoid sags and runs on vertical surfaces.
Coverage:
1 Coat: 2.5 - 7.5 m² depending on the texture
2 Coats: 2 - 4 m² depending on the texture
