PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) system with auto darkening welding helmet. Lithium battery powered respirator unit provides the user with a constant filtered stream of air to their head and face for up to approximately 8hr. The filter is designed to reduce or remove dust and particles but not vapours and gases. The kit meets performance class TH2 (less than 10% inward leakage) according to EN 12941:1998/A2:2008. Adjustable airflow settings of 150/180/210L/min. Features an audible alarm to alert user of low battery/low airflow. Inner hood has protective clear visor to BS EN166 standards. Welding helmet has adjustable shade control from 9-13 and 5-8. Fully automatic switching from light to dark on striking arc @ 1/25,000s. Solar panel power supply to welding helmet. Contoured design helmet with adjustable headband for added comfort. Suitable for MIG, TIG MMA/ARC welding, cutting and grinding. Complies with BS EN379, EN175, EN166, EN12941 and DIN standards.
