Description
Land Rover fitted the Td5 fuel filter in the rear wheel arch, right next to the rear wheel, where it gets covered in mud and saltwater from the wheels.
This can cause corrosion, and it is a common fault for the aluminium housing to become porous, causing fuel and air leaks that result in poor starting, lack of power and poor running. The filter housing also has a non-return valve and air bleed valve, which can also fail.
This MAHLE OEM replacement fuel filter with head bracket comes complete with the fuel filter, water sensor and hose connectors with non-return and air bleed valves fitted.
