Description
This billet aluminium transfer gearbox sump cover oil cooler is designed to replace the standard sump covers with a much stronger alternative featuring cooling fins to maintain optimal oil temperature in harsh conditions. Suitable for Defender, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic diesel models with LT230 transfer gearboxes, it increases oil capacity by approximately 1/2 litre without compromising ground clearance. The cover includes a new gasket and uses existing bolts for installation. A plugged port allows fitting of an optional oil temperature gauge for enhanced monitoring. Note that fitting on V8 models requires clearance checks with exhaust pipes.
