The hydraulic braking system in your Land Rover uses rigid pipes for the most part, but there is a flexible rubber brake hose at each wheel to allow for movement of the suspension and steering. Over time these hoses can perish and split, or the connections can corrode, causing a loss in brake pressure and ultimately brake failure.
