Description
This left hand exhaust gas recirculation EGR valve is designed for Discovery 3 L319 2004-2009, Discovery 4 L319 2010-2011, and Range Rover Sport L320 2005-2009 models equipped with the 2.7 TDV6 diesel engine. The EGR valve plays a crucial role in reducing harmful Nitrous Oxide NOx emissions by recycling exhaust gases back into the air intake, helping to cool the combustion chamber and improve emission control. A faulty EGR valve can trigger engine management warnings and cause smoky exhaust under acceleration. While cleaning is possible, replacement is often more cost-effective and necessary to pass MOT inspections.
