This right-hand exhaust gas recirculation valve plays a crucial role in reducing harmful Nitrous Oxide NOx emissions by recycling exhaust gases back into the air intake, helping to cool the combustion chamber and improve engine efficiency. A faulty EGR valve can trigger engine management warnings and cause smoky exhaust under acceleration.
