Description
This is a replacement switch for the upper tailgate release handle. The switch can corrode and fail meaning that you cannot open the upper tailgate. If you do get locked out, there is an emergency tailgate release function, press and hold the lock and unlock buttons together on the dash or door console to release the upper tailgate.
There are 3 different switches and looms for the Discovery 4, this is the version without any rear view cameras.
The switch includes a mini wiring loom with connectors for the switch and the number plate lights.
