The engine mounts in your Land Rover support the weight of the engine whilst isolating noise and vibrations. Land Rover engine mounts are normally made of rubber sandwiched between metal brackets, whilst some later engine mounts will have a special liquid inside. Engine mounts can perish and wear and will require replacing.
