Description
This right hand exhaust gas recirculation EGR valve is designed for vehicles with a 2.7 TDV6 engine, including Discovery 3, Discovery 4, and Range Rover Sport models from 2004 to 2016. The EGR valve plays a crucial role in reducing harmful Nitrous Oxide NOx emissions by recycling exhaust gases back into the air intake, helping to cool the combustion chamber. A faulty EGR valve can trigger engine management warnings and cause smoky exhaust under acceleration. While cleaning is possible, replacement is often more effective and necessary to pass MOT inspections.
