The starter motor of your Land Rover may need replacing if it is not turning fast enough or if it's seized. There are several reasons why the starter may not be working despite a good battery. Once you have eliminated simple mechanical or electrical faults, replacing the whole starter motor is often much easier instead of stripping it down and fixing the fault. It's essential to disconnect the battery before removing the starter motor (and any attached solenoids) so that you don't accidentally cause a short circuit.
